Route to VHK
  [ Brussels, Belgium by car ]

Through the city (shortest route)

  1. At Antwerpen choose the E19 to Brussel (via Mechelen).
  2. Always follow direction Brussel.
  3. On the ringway choose exit Brussel Evere Zaventem and keep right to Brussel Evere. You will then drive on the A201 to Brussel Centrum. On your left hand side you can see the NATO building and after that the A201 changes into a 4-lane way, Leopold III laan.
  4. Keep driving straight on til the road ends and turn left towards the park indicated by a sign Ter Kameren - La Cambre.
  5. You are now driving on the Bd. Auguste Reyers that changes into Bd. Brand Whitlock.
  6. You will enter a large roundabout called Montgomery. Drive half of the roundabout and drive into the Michielslaan.
  7. The Michielslaan will change into Bd. Louis Schmidt after 150 metres and after that this road changes into Generaal Jaques laan. Drive through this road and you will arrive at the park La Cambre.
  8. Stay on this road while keeping to park on your left until you arrive at a roundabout with a small castle. Turn left on the roundabout into the park.
  9. Follow the signs Van der Kindere.
  10. At the first traffic light turn right.
  11. Drive straight on and you will arrive on the Av. Winston Churchill. Drive through this road until you after a crossroad it changes into the Avenue Albert. Nr. 126 will be on the right hand side.

 

Around the city (longer, but easier)

  1. At Antwerpen choose E19 to Brussel (via Mechelen).
  2. Choose:
    Via E19: Enter the ringway of Brussels in the direction of Charleroi - Mons. Do not choose the direction of Brussel! If the first exit you pass is Machelen-Vilvoorde, then you are driving in the right direction.
    Via E12: Take exit Strombeek - Bever. You will then arrive on the ring way in the direction of Charleroi.
  3. On the ring way follow the direction Charleroi. Exit at Ruisbroek, Drogenbos.
  4. At the end of the exit turn left to Uccle. You are then driving on the Rue de Stalle.
  5. Pass straight through a roundabout.
  6. The road will make a slight turn and you will arrive at a crossroad with Chaussee d'Alsemberg. You can recognise this crossroad by the drugstore Multipharma and the cafe Globe.
  7. Turn left on the crossroad into Chaussee d'Alsemberg in the direction of the centre of Brussels.
  8. At a certain point you will see the supermarket Match and right after that metro signs Albert. You are then on the Place Albert. Turn right into the Avenue Albert.
  9. At the second traffic light turn back so that you will drive on the other lane of the road. Nr. 126 is on this side of Avenue Albert close to the tram stop Berkendael.
