The European website of the EU ENERGY STAR Programme for energy efficient office equipment

VHK was contracted by the European Commission to carry out a promotional campagne for the introduction of the EU ENERGY STAR®. Part of this campagne is the official website for the EU ENERGY STAR programme. Its prime feature is the database of ENERGY STAR® qualified office equipment in co-operation with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The entire website is developed and designed by VHK.

The website is split into three sections, tailored to the needs of the different target groups: Private consumers, Businesses and Public sector institutions.

The EU ENERGY STAR programme follows an Agreement between the Government of the US and the European Community (EU) to co-ordinate energy labeling of office equipment. It is managed by the European Commission. US partner is the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), that started the scheme in the US in 1992.
