Bundespatentgericht Munich confirms validity German part VHK-patent for room-based, heating & ventilation unit
In the nullity suit of Zehnder Verkaufs- und Verwaltungs AG versus VHK SP BV concerning the German part of the VHK Patent EP 0 783 655 (“Room atmosphere
conditioning unit for a heating, cooling and ventilating system”), the German Patent Court in Munich determined the Patent to be legally valid on all major claims.
A Dutch verdict concerning validity and infringement of the Dutch part of the European Patent is expected later this year.
VHK’s room-based, heating & ventilation unit is sold under the trademark ClimaRad.
